Join us for our FREE award winning, family-friendly annual event which highlights the importance of biodiversity for our natural and human communities.

During the event, we will enjoy a Wild and Scenic slow-paced 7-mile ride on Myakka's paved Park Drive.  We'll make a few stops to learn about Myakka's ecosystems, with a focus on the important role of the Myakka River.  We'll discuss  why biodiversity is so critical for our environment's health (and ours!).  Following the ride, we will engage in a 40 minute invasive plant removal service project and then enjoy a FREE lunch.

• All Friends of Myakka River members who participate in the event will have the chance to win one of two SWAG bags! 
• Lunch, NA brews and more!
• Park admission fees  waived for all registered participants.
• Suitable for all bikes
• All participants are required to complete a Bike Waiver and Short Term Volunteer agreement 
• Rain or shine!
• Check-in at the Log Pavilion from 8:30-8:50
• Ride leaves promptly at 9:00 am
• Kids welcome with parents 
• For safety reasons, this event is NOT suitable for pets.
• Helmets required for bicycle riders and passengers under 16 per FL law
• Please bring your work gloves!
