Hailing from Tampa, The Applebutter Express are funk heroes with a totally unique sound — a ukulele-driven funk band with bluegrass undertones, rooted in fun, harmony, and great vibes. Come out and enjoy an unforgettable evening of music under the stars.

Bring your appetites! We’re excited to welcome Smokin Momma Lora’s BBQ Mobile to this Moon Over Myakka concert.
Known for generous portions and bold, smoky flavor, Smokin Momma Lora’s serves up classic barbecue favorites made with care and serious taste. Smokin Momma Lora’s BBQ Mobile will be serving food during the concert, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase from The Lazy Gator Café. Homemade brownies baked by Florida Park Service Volunteers, along with coffee, will also be available for sale during the concert.
All proceeds from this fundraiser directly benefit Myakka River State Park and the Wild and Scenic Myakka River.

Experience Myakka's Magic and Dark Sky during our
astronomy night at Myakka River State Park!
Join the Friends of Myakka River from 6:30 to 9 PM on Saturday, March 7th for an evening exploration of the night sky at Myakka River State Park when we partner with the Suncoast Stargazers for a magical evening of observing the heavens.
Our astronomy experts will provide event participants with the opportunity to view planets, galaxies, and star clusters using state-of-the-art telescopes. The dark skies of the park should make for nearly ideal observing conditions.
Tickets: $15 per person, $10 for Friends of Myakka River Members
