Love Myakka River State Park?   Love to Bike Myakka?  Looking for an opportunity to give back?


Then join us for our May Bike Myakka! for Good Service Ride.


On Saturday, May 7,  we'll take a Wild and Scenic ROAD RIDE together.  After a short (under an hour) invasive plant removal project, we will enjoy a free picnic lunch, sponsored by Friends of Myakka River. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Total ride distance will be less than 12 miles; The exact ride route and work location will be shared with registrants closer to the event.  Lunch will take place in a covered pavilion.

All registered Friends of Myakka River Members who attend

will receive a FREE Bike Myakka! sticker.


Not a Friends member yet?  Annual Individual Memberships are $25, Family Memberships are $35.  Join us HERE. 

  • Limited to 30 participants
  • Registration closes on Thursday, May 5.
  • Suitable for all bikes
  • Check-in at the South Pavilion Parking Lot from 8:30-8:55
  • Ride leaves at 9:00 am
  • Park admission fees waived with registration for this free event
  • Lunch will be available to registered participants only
  • Kids welcome with parents 
  • Bicycle riders and passengers under age 16 are required by Florida Law to wear a helmet
