Love Myakka River State Park?   Love to Bike Myakka?  Looking for an opportunity to give back?

Then join us for our April Bike Myakka! for Good Service Ride.

On Saturday, April 2nd,  we'll take a Wild and Scenic ROAD RIDE together to the Upper Myakka Lake!  After a short (under an hour) invasive plant removal project, we will enjoy a free picnic lunch, sponsored by Friends of Myakka River.  We'll also check out and discuss the Historic Upper Myakka Lake Restoration.

All registered Friends of Myakka River Members who attend will receive a FREE Bike Myakka! reusable water bottle!

Not a Friends member yet?  Annual Individual Memberships are $25, Family Memberships are $35.  Join us HERE. 

• Limited to 30 participants
• Registration closes on Thursday, March 31st.
• Suitable for all bikes
• Check-in at the South Pavilion Parking Lot from 8:30-8:55
• Ride leaves at 9:00 am
• Total ride distance is approximately 8 miles
• Park admission fees waived with registration for this free event
• Lunch will be available to registered participants only
• Kids welcome with parents 
• Bicycle riders and passengers under age 16 are required by Florida Law to wear a helmet
